We’re looking for talented Technicians to join our busy IT Support team; reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing quality support to our ever-increasing customer base.


Based in our Head Office, you’ll join an existing team of Technicians, picking up escalated issues from the Help Desk / First Line team.  Systems supported are primarily Microsoft, so strong Windows experience is essential, coupled with excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.  Some MAC skills and experience would be an advantage.

We do need you to have experience in a similar role – and if it’s in a similar business-to-business roe, then happy days.  We’re looking for experience in the following for a starter for 10:


·                 software;

·                 hardware break/fix;

·                 server builds / installation;

·                 networking;

·                 firewalls;

·                 routers.


Specific experience/skills in the following areas are also needed:


·                broad range and recent experience of IT hardware/software typically found in small to medium sized business environments;

·                good knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, LAN and WAN;

·                good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Office Suites;

·                experience with gateways, firewalls, routers, switches and current security products;

·                good knowledge of Win 7, Win 8 and Win 10 operating systems – including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP;

·                good knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016;

·                knowledge of MS SBS – preferably migrations;

·                knowledge of backup/restore tools;

·                experience of working to strict customer SLAs and team KPIs;

·                clean UK driving licence.
